Nabil Bounassif (Director and Sales)
In 1997, while completing his Double Bachelor of Building Degrees (UWS), majoring in Construction Management and Surveying, Nabil Spent 2 years conducting research in the Australian Alpine zone, during and following the Thredbo fatal landslide of the Carinya and Bimbadeen lodges in July 1997, writing a thesis and book on the non-compliance of the Australian Alpine buildings and the effects of snow and wind loading, understanding the lateral loads the snow and slopes were imposing on the building structures, with an in depth study and understanding of the nature of the granite Alpine terrain with Geologist and Geotech engineer, lecturer and mentor Mark Crowley, this led to an early determination of understanding structural instability in Australian Alpine buildings, and methods to anchor it and make it safe forever. Nabil spent a further 4 years pursuing his passion working in Jindabyne at the NPWS, on building structures and assessments alongside councils prominent engineers.
Nabil is going onto 30 years in the commercial and residential construction industry, and as a successful principle builder, has acquired an extensive and solid knowledge and experience in all aspects of construction work, from bespoke project design and planning through to project handover.
Nabil has been paramount in overseeing the execution of MCLMs Screw Piling range of projects, from the small granny flat to the large commercials, including project specific requirements, Quality Control, on-site staff and overall business logistics with strict adherence to the piling code, regulations, codes of practice, and project specifications.
Already holding 2 Bachelor degrees in Building and Surveying, Nabil is a firm believer in constant and higher education, and is currently completing his 3rd degree in Engineering studies at University of Technology, Sydney.
Nabil is a firm believer that loyalty and strong relationships with staff and clients is key to MCLM Groups’ success

Marcus Bounassif (Co-Director and Operations)
Over a decade of end-to-end delivery spanning design, fabrication, and installation spanning residential to Government projects, Marcus believes strong foundations start with trust and guided though accountability. Expanding his knowledge as a fourth-year structural engineering candidate, Marcus blends practical site know-how with current engineering standards, bringing an innovative, solutions-driven approach to every foundation package.
Marcus’ interest in screw piling and steel fabrication began early. At 15, he was awarded a qualification in armoured and structural steel (ISO 9606) at the Land Forces convention in Brisbane which was presented to him by the Chief Minister of the Defence Force. This recognition made him the youngest attendee at the national event and the youngest in NSW to achieve that qualification. He has since progressed from operating and installing screw piles to leading specialist crews, and mentoring the next generation while overseeing quality and safety in all aspects.
The backbone of Marcus’ philosophy is building genuine client relationships and educating stakeholders on best-practice screw piling, so decisions are informed, programs are protected, and outcomes are predictable. Known for meticulous attention to detail and a hands-on leadership style, Marcus remains actively involved across MCLM’s projects, driving innovation and consistently exceeding expectations.
Acknowledgement of the country
MCLM Screw Piling acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, work and build. In Sydney, we pay our respects to the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation. Across New South Wales, we also recognise the Dharawal, Dharug, Awabakal, Darkinjung, Kamilaroi, Wiradjuri and many other Nations whose lands we operate on. We honour their deep and ongoing connection to Country and extend our respects to Elders past and present.

We stand firmly against slavery labour
We stand firmly against slavery labour in all its forms. Every individual deserves the right to work freely, with dignity, fair wages, and safe conditions. Slavery labour strips people of their basic human rights and exploits their vulnerability for profit. By raising awareness, supporting ethical practices, and demanding transparency from businesses, we can help end forced labour and create a world where every worker is treated with respect and justice.
